Ramatoulaye Bocoum (SENEGAL), 28: “Hair treated with local hair products”
In 2013, while still in France, Ramatoulaye Bocoum did not end up with all the hair products she had on hand. From her student room, she begins to create her products, to adapt them according to the needs of her hair and already see results appear. Back in Senegal in 2014, she is interested in the raw material not used in the field of hair cosmetics and begins to transform them. Thus is born Adaa Ada which is a brand of natural hair products, enhancing local products. Eight products are available including a range of mango and baobab leaf milk, mint lotion and okra detangler. The brand highlights in its compositions the natural resources of Senegal and Africa and ancestral know-how to meet the needs of African women. “Nature and its resources are our sources of inspiration. With this vastness of benefits, we are curious to exploit them in order to offer more and more innovative products “, supports the one who manages to produce 800 products per quarter and who wants to raise this figure to 2,000 per quarter.
